Kieskompas never makes data relating to individual users available to third parties. Personal data are handled and protected with the greatest possible care. In all cases, Kieskompas fully complies with all the requirements laid down by the Personal Data Protection Act.

Kieskompas observes the provisions of the Code of Conduct for Research and Statistics. Published on 24 March 2004, Staatscourant (Government Gazette) 2004, no. 36.

Data collected by Kieskompas are used for scientific research at the VU University of Amsterdam.
